if you are a creative professional on a tight budget then build a PC, so you can setup a raid array and 8gigs of ram with out breaking the bank. If use mac apps extensively I would make hackintosh out of the or get a mac pro.

Imo the pro route would be mac pro or lowest macbook + pc. If most of your work is done is photoshop I would look at going the PC route. You can setup really powerful pc for doing graphics work for cheap and CS4 is faster in windows then osx.
 
Actually the Intel one is 80GB, but yes it seems to be the fastest out there at the moment on most benchmarks, but the Samsung is a little better on few of the tests.

No, that is the Intel X25-M, M for mainstream.

The Intel X25-E is the Extreme model and the Samsung based solid state drive is no where near the X25-E in performance. The X25-E has a write speed of up to 170MB/s compared to 70MB/s for the X25-M.
