im wondering whether any Apps I develop using the SDK can be installed onto my iphone directly without going through the App Store, im aware that you can debug your own applications on your iphone however when the cable is removed does that also mean the application will no longer work / or is removed?

I cant find any information on this on the developer.apple.com website - This is a pretty important factor for me.

i think itll work something like that - as it stands now no one can get apps onto the phone to test as apple hasn't been sending out certs yet/accepting for the dev program. I tried an app to my phone which is jailbroken, test app, just copying it over sftp. It loads and then bombs, im guessing because it doesnt have the cert needed to validate, that, or the sdk will end up copying something required on to the phone once the certs are being handed out..
