Hi, I've been an anon reader for quite a long time.

Now, I'm quite desperate for help. 🙁

I wirelessly charged my phone on a powerbank last night.
After checking on it, it was turned off. No heat or anything else.

So, I tried turning it on, nothing.
Charging it wirelessly again, nothing.
Charging it with with MFI-certified cable and my unused original cable (with original power brick), nothing.
I tried the wireless charger, MFI-cert cable, and original cable with original power brick on my wife's SE 2nd Gen, it's working flawlessly.

I tried the DFU mode, hard reset, and almost everything else I found on the internet except opening the phone, but still no luck.

I didn't drop the phone or anything, it was perfectly fine before I wirelessly charged it.

What should I do?
It's a lot of hassle going to any Apple Store for repairs right now.
Trying to fix it on my own for now 🙁

Installed iOS: 14.8
Battery Capacity (checked yesterday): 100%
Bought: Sept 13, 2020

Either send it in for a repair estimate or take it to a store. Phone is messed up. You didn’t do anything wrong. It just happened to die at some random point.
damn 🙁

I think, I will do that this week. I was hoping it would die down while it's still on warranty but it wasn't.
Anyway, thanks! I'm hoping the cost is reasonable.

Update:

So, it costs me around $364.63 (converted from php).
Damn...

Dang! It had a short life! That problem is rare.
Yes. Really unlucky this time :/
Even a 3rd-party non-Apple guy I talked with is contemplating on how to fix that one.

Ugh, I guess no phone for a long time for me. (a.k.a "Phone Rehab" mode hahah)
My plan was to keep that phone for, at least, 3+ years but it died just after its Sept 13 warranty! 🙁

Update:
Paid the Apple Service Center here in my country around $16 to retrieve my phone.
IP Adhesive was completely removed (according to the guy in the story below).

I googled "iphone logic board repair" and saw some Reddit posts that recommends local reputable repair shops.
I messaged around 3 shops and went to a mall for my appointment.
Findings: shorted logic board (because of wireless charging?! [not Apple-certified wireless powerbank] oh damn, I'll never wireless charge anymore!)
Cost: Just a mere $63 with IP adhesive!

I will be going back tomorrow to retrieve the phone! ❤️
