had this problem on 10.0 beta in the summer, 9.3.3 was blazing 200ddown

just upgraded to 10.2 from 9.3.3, and when I flip airplane mode and back on, I get 200

after some time, the wifi speed goes slow and goes about 20 down until I flip airplane mode again

anyone else? other devices and laptop dont seem to do this,

could it be a bug STILL ongoing? yikes

AirPort Extreme too for router

Test it on other wifi routers to rule out that it's not with that router only.

Don't have other routers.

Just odd my
iPad Pro and 7+ don't fizzle on speeds with repeat tests but SE does and usually disconnecting and reconnecting (forget network) or airplane mode kicks it in the butt again. I wonder if it's an SE power saving feature I dunno

I recall this with 10.0 betas too and I don't think ios9 did it

Edit- seems to not be doing it maybe tinkering a ton fixed it (reset network settings, airplane mode, disconnect, manually connect, reboot, etc haha)

Edit2- nah, doing it again.. great

Interesting. Hope it stays good.
Sometimes resetting things helps out. Also resetting the router or updating the routers firmware helps.

Yeah could also be interference in the air and inconsistent server tests. Hard to say it's ok again. I guess as long as the phone runs fine I'm being paranoid

Not like I can do much about it anuways haha

Go to a different place that has WiFi: library, coffeeshop, hotel lobby, work, school, whatever.

Those most certainly will have slower connections than 200 down and crappier signal than dual band N

But doesn't matter I'm good now. Some combo of trying to isolate stuff I think resolved it

Thanks for your help! Enjoying 10.2 SE jailbreak

My SE is just as fast as my daughters 6s on wifi. Thus far I have seen no advantage or slow down on ios10. Battery life gets better on my SE with every update so there is that to consider.
