Wondering what the differences are — besides the 5 vs. 6 chip and, I assume, oxygen reading.

Particularly curious whether the Apple Watch SE has the ECG function...

My guess is there's no ECG, no blood oxygen monitoring, no always on display, AW5 internals...but yeah, I wish I knew exactly what the differences were.

Thanks for the comments and noting they've now posted details.

So, that means $309 for Apple Series 5 refurb or $399 for brand new Apple 6 if one wants ECG.

Does the Apple Watch 3 detect Afib?

(Ah! Apple auto-correct first changed that to “A fib”... That could be a good feature for parents, middle school teachers, and the press corps. If the press were equipped with Apple watches that could detect “A fib”, they'd be going off all the time when interviewing or asking questions of politicians, especially one of them!)

Finally, does one have to waive privacy rights to use those features? In other words, agreeing to submit data to an Apple server or be a part of one of its health studies?

As far as I can see the series 6 has the following over the SE:
U1 chip
20% faster SOC
Always on Display
ECG
Blood Oxygen meassuring
Blue and red color options
Stainless Steel and Titanium options
40% higher price
A tiny bit of Jobs' soul

Did I miss anything?

Apple used to make the comparison among models very easy to check , now it's a little more difficult to get the differences.
