SE2 or replace battery on 5?

This is a corollary to my other thread about replacing a battery on a Series 5 or buying a Series 10. I went ahead and bought a Series 10 and I was going to give the 5 to my mother-in-law who basically needs only a few functions: notification of phone calls and messages; step tracking; weather; and a timer.

Edit: after thinking about it - I bought her the SE2 and I'm going to trade in the Series 5.
