If you had the choice of these 2 phones, which one would you pick and why? I feel like when I got my current iPhone 13 pro, it was the latest and greatest thing but I could also use a more basic phone too.

I know the size is quite different but neither size bothers me and I’m not fussed with Face ID vs Touch ID.

I am wondering though, how the camera will be on the SE3. There may be something I haven’t thought of so thought I’d ask here to see what input I can get.

Cheers

Wait and see how big the battery in the SE 2022 is and also how much RAM it has.

I think the SE 2022 is great for people coming from older iPhones like 6s, 7 and 8, but I would not touch it especially if coming from the battery life legends like 11 and 13.

If you are looking for a more basic phone then look at the standard 13, why go back all the way to 11.

Might wanna check out JB HI FI, they have deals on some iPhones at the moment, unless you’re buying second hand.

iPhone 12 $999

I wouldn’t be paying $929 for a iPhone 11.

Prefer SE3 with touch id.
I have plan to get SE3.
It's time to replace my i7.

Face ID with mask doesn't work on the iPhone 11. I would definitely lean towards an older 2020 SE or this new 2022 model because of the fingerprint scanner. Whichever is cheaper, new, etc.

For me the SE 3. I just cannot justify spending almost a grand on a phone. I have had both iterations of the SE and have been very happy for how it fits my needs. I am glad Apple gives us options.

Switching from a 13 Pro to an 11 is just nonsensical. The 11 is more basic because it’s older.
The SE 3 is basic because it is older in principle, but with updated hardware.
The camera will be like the SE 2‘s but with better image processing, nothing special. Battery life will reportedly be like the 12 Mini/just a bit better than the SE 2.
Touch ID will be nice, they design is still gorgeous. Just attached new screen protectors to the 8 I gave my mom for Christmas and my 11 Pro. I love to handle the 8 much more than my 11P.
Don’t bother with either, tho. You have a top of the line phone, what’s the problem?

I think they want it as well as their 13 Pro, not replacing it.

Depends on the size and do you want Face ID or fingerprint? Face ID I would get 13 mini fingerprint get the se.

Personally, I would go for the iPhone 11. Both phones will perform fine for years to come. As a phone, battery life is important, and the 11 wins. Camera wise, the 11 has night mode and ultra-wide, so another win.

Only get the SE if you must have TouchID and 5G.

Here’s another vote for the 11. My 11 PM has superb battery life, cameras that are amazing, face ID, and feels great in my hand. I’m am not a fan of fingerprint ID (doesn’t work well with wet or sweaty thumbs). I love the feel of it. I think it’s the best model Apple has made to date.

I’m trying to decide wether to replace or not. I feel like I don’t use a lot of the functions the 13 pro offers so would probably be better off with something else. I love the camera on the 13 pro but would also be happy with the 11. Battery life is one of the important factors also

I’d keep the 13 pro, you’re only going to end up with a similar sized iPhone, you’ll also be downgrading in every single way, also be losing money on a recently purchased phone.

Unless you’re planning on getting a smaller or bigger phone, it’s not worth downgrading to a iPhone 11.

I probably wouldn't downgrade. You will end up losing money. I also think the 13 Pro has better battery life than the 11. Keep the 13 Pro unless you can still return it for a refund. Then you can maybe trade-in to the regular iPhone 14 later this year.
