I ordered the case a little after the preorders went live, however, I haven't seen any movement yet on the case and its estimated delivery is 9/20-9/27. I was hoping to get it sooner rather than later since my phone is on its way, and will be here in a few days. Anyone else in the same boat? Anyone who preordered already seeing movement on the case?

Sea Blue Leather Case Shipping

I was also wondering if anyone has seen the case in person yet too. I'm curious to see peoples impressions. I liked what I saw on the site, but seeing it out and about would be nice.
I know its not Sea Blue, but I ordered a Midnight Blue case on 09/11 and i'm still processing here. It seems like a lot of the Plus cases aren't moving at all. Est delivery 09/21-09/28
Odd that all the other colors were ready to roll. Given how overpriced the accessories are, and not as difficult to produce (not to mention, much less secretive), I really wonder why Apple doesn't have hundreds of thousands of these things ready on launch day.
Mine is still processing as well. Wonder whats so special about this color that its the only one not available.
This is so odd that no one has seen the case or seen any traction in their order. I really don't see what was so special about this case to cause a delay in its release.
It's weird the Sea Blue for the silicone case is a totally different color (light aqua/neon blue) from the Sea Blue for Leather, and there is no Ocean Blue option for Leather, but is for Silicone. Sea Blue for leather, appears to be a mix of Sea Blue and Ocean blue from silicone. So, I can only think that late in the game, the product branding with blue for leather screwed up somewhere. Maybe a lighter blue leather color wasn't passing quality control.
Ordered along with my phone (7+/JB/256/VZW)...Phone shipped and is due Friday; nothing on case. Called support, they know nothing. Obviously this is the big new color this year so supply will be tighter but like you all I did not expect the phone to beat the case.
Don't think it's a supply issue, because people who ordered with their phone (when they ordered their phone, so at 12:00 AM, as an example), still don't have a delivery date before late Sept/early October.
In fact, no one has seen this case in the wild.
If the case isn't available, what would you call that if not a supply issue? Whether there are not enough or not any, that means, there's not a supply.
Though obviously the dam is starting to break if someone's reporting theirs has gone PFS.
Mines just went to preparing to shipment. If its standard delivery, then I guess it will be showing up on the 27th, right at the end of the delivery window. At least thats what I hope.
Still processing on my order place on 9/9 at 12:03. Good news is I always got my cases next day after they ship from Apple.
Sorry, I thought you were implying that the backlog is due to insufficient supply versus demand. In reality, with no one having received one thus far, appears to be a production issue. So we agree there is no supply due to production issues, and not demand alone.
