Seagate 7200.9 or 7200.10

What is the difference? I just need 500GB and 7200.9 sells for $100+tax on newegg. Is there any advantage to get 7200.10 over 7200.9?

BTW, this will be used in an external enclosure.

Two words: Perpendicular Recording. See wikipedia for more information.

In a nutshell, if the price difference is negligible, then opt for the 7200.10.

It's the newer model I think so go for that one.
