Getting consistent time machine errors with hourly backups to my seagate 500gb external hdd. this happens a few times a day. error message:
as far as i know, i'm not actually running anything from the ex hdd when this occurs (not watching movies from it, etc).
faulty drive or software?
advice?
EDIT: solved, so far. wiped it with disk utility and reformatted. no problems yet...
