Seagate ST9500420AS 7200RMA drive a concern in older MBP?

Hola - have an older MBP (15" - from 2008 @ 2.4GHz) that I want to upgrade to the Seagate ST9500420AS. Do the issues around the 7200 RPM drives concern me, or only the newer MBP's?

Never heard of any issues in the older MBPs....well, at least none that were the laptop's fault.The drive itself has a reputation that is....not so solid. I find it hilarious you put "RMA" instead of "RPM" in the title. A sign of things to come?

I've got that drive in my 2006 first generation macbook pro and it runs like a charm. Quiet and vibration free.
