So I know all about the portable thunderbolt adapter released by seagate, but are we going to see a desktop version? Does anybody have any info on this, any links to articles on the subject?

    Thanks

Just starting to appear now in stores. I picked up one at Frys on Friday. They had a few in stock. Amazon also has it listed, but with no delivery time.

Works fine, though it does get warm. I was testing it with a 4TB GoFlex drive.

It's now listed on Seagates site if you go here; http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/thunderbolt

I'm just a little hesitant to order even though it says in stock because no one else has said anything about ordering it from them directly yet.
