“Goodby Mr. Bond.”
He's so good in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, there's only one man who could ever have played Dr. Henry Jones, Jr's Dad, and that's the brilliant Sean Connery. I rewatched this semi-recently, it's tight, wonderfully acted, has a nice tie-in with the original, has that beautiful opening with River Phoenix playing Indy (that always makes me a little sad).
I think we all knew about these comments and quite why it needs to be shared here is anybody’s guess.Lest we forget...

Sean Connery's attitude towards women was wrong, but sadly very much of the time
Reflecting on Sean Connery’s life, it’s impossible to skate over his notorious attitude towards women.www.scotsman.com
It's convenient in death to forget about who the individual really is. This is a fallacy.I think we all knew about these comments and quite why it needs to be shared here is anybody’s guess.
On that note I think you’ve ended the thread. It's convenient in death to forget about who the individual really is. This is a fallacy.

Hence the forum signature that I've had on and off for over a decade! His interactions with "Q" were always funny!
You're welcome. Really enjoyed seeing him. It is very difficult to say which is his best movie/role.Hence the forum signature that I've had on and off for over a decade!
Thanks for the movies, Mr. Connery.
