C coolguy1 macrumors member Original poster Sep 10, 2011 #1 Hi, I have new MAC 13" Air w/ pre-installed LION. I noticed that from finder, the search doesn't work. I have bunch of files (.doc, .xls etc) and when I type in doc or xls in search bar, these files don't show up.. its blank. What could be problem?

S.B.G Moderator emeritus Sep 10, 2011 #2 Can you post a screen shot? Also check in System Preferences under Spotlight and see that you have what you need enabled.

C coolguy1 macrumors member Original poster Sep 10, 2011 #3 I have installed TotalFinder too.. I wonder if it is causing any problem.. ---------- NVM.. I was doing *.doc like in windows 🙂 I just need to do .doc to see all doc files..
