Search Results

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Is there a way to set search results to only return one result per thread? Been looking through my settings to change this default but can't seem to find anything related to this.

In other words, if I search for "pencil", I don't want 20 results showing the same thread because it contains multiple occurrences of the word pencil.

I tried selecting "Display results as threads", but that changed nothing

I'm not sure why the "Display results as threads" checkbox doesn't work if you're searching from within a forum.

One way to get around this is to hit the magnifying glass icon, then the "More" button to get to the advanced search page. Hit the "Threads and Posts" tab and there you can enter a search term and then choose "Display results as threads" down at the bottom. That should work.
