Searching for an external display for a new macbook pro

Hi! I'm about to buy the first of the new macbook pro 13" and I'm searching for a good external display to replace my current thunderbolt display. Would you have some suggestions for me? Thanks a lot!

This depends on the quality you are looking for, if you require 10bit, or extra ports on the monitor, if you want a retina like screen, 2k 4k 5k ? .. is there a budget of 500 dollar or 1500 dollar ?

The 4k is a 21" one ,the LG on their site
the 5k is a 27" one, but it's around 1300 dollar/euro

I know dell has a 27" 5k monitor, but i dunno how their 4k 27" ones are priced or specced.
