Hey there! I've spent the last hours searching for a good diary/journal app preferably with encryption. I've used some of them, but never was really satisfied.
- Day One is very good, but I can't and won't sync it via Dropbox or iCloud without encryption. I use FileVault, but I want to sync it between my MBP and MBA so no encryption + Cloud = not good!
- Memories is the app I've used before, but the development seems to have freezed as it gives me constantly crashes when "migrating" from previous library. I could barely copy my old diary entries out of this since this bug...
- MacJournal is the one I'm testing right now.
I need:
- Local encryption (preferably AES-256, but at least not plain)
- Only text (I don't need media there)
- Syncable between MBP and MBA (don't care about iOS/Android)
- Stable and supported (almost lost data from Memories, I don't want this to happen, especially when it is almost impossible to decrypt without the corresponding app)
