I would like to add second DVD burner in my Mac Pro 2006.

I will connect it to one of the additional SATA connectors.

Which one of these burners would work under Mac OS X ?

Sony / NEC (Optiarc) DVD+/-RW AD-5240S
Asus DVD+/-RW DRW-24B1ST
Lite-ON DVD+/-RW IHAS424 LightScribe

I got IDE\CdRomOPTIARC_DVD_RW_AD-7170A_________________1.NC____ currently as first drive.

DVD burners are plug and play. I'm a Lite-On fan personally. Anyways, seeing as you changed your CPUs, I assume you are aware of what is involved in using the spare SATA ports in your machine?

I don't know what you plan to do with the drive or how you use your computer, but I generally recommend getting a drive that can be easily flashed (i.e. there are firmware or tools for your drive) for region-free use and, more importantly, removal of riplock. Before you choose a drive, poke about the net to see if there is good community support for it. You might want to start your search at cdfreaks.
