I bought a second hand iPhone 4 yesterday and it looks as if it has been opened and the front or rear glass replaced. Also, WiFi doesn't work well, mute switch isn't very good, and camera flash doesn't work.

It's in warranty until August 2nd, but what are my chances of managing to get a replacement from an Apple Store if I list all of the problems it has?

If the device is damaged, Apple probably won't fix it. If things just aren't working but it looks like it's in good shape, they might give it a shot (since it's under warranty), but they have a record of any other time it's come in for service. Sounds damaged to me, which means they wouldn't fix it. (Now, if it has Applecare+, that might be a different story.)

You can always give it a shot but if you can tell it's been opened, an Apple Genius most certain will be able to and will deem your warranty void.

Would they just check the screws at the bottom? Or are there other checks they go through?
