Confirm that 2nd Public beta / Revised Dev beta 4 (23A5301h) will fix this issueSonoma Beta 4 bricked my MacBook Pro 2020 (intel) due to SMC problem. Could anyone let me know whether this second public beta has addressed that issue yet? Thanks a lot.
I held back on beta 4 after reading all the reports, so I didn’t install beta 4 “version 1”Sonoma Beta 4 bricked my MacBook Pro 2020 (intel) due to SMC problem. Could anyone let me know whether this second public beta has addressed that issue yet? Thanks a lot.
I have problems with full screen Twitter videos.Anyone else having issues when maximizing video to full screen?
I've had this bug on every Sonoma beta build (UK here too)- starting to wonder if it's meant to work like this.Yeah once I log in it’s the correct time. I’m in the uk. So I’m getting California time too. Is there anyway to change it?

DFU mode👋🏼 Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum.
💻 I just bricked my Intel MBP 2020 two days ago after successfully installing macOS 14 developer beta 4.
⛔️ Now the computer won't boot since it's unable to operate when connected to power. How can I install the revised beta (23A5301h) that supposedly fixes the issue?
Hi, for my case, I unplugged it completely from the power source, then press power key and other random keys and plug my Apple Watch to charge (of course it didn't charge) and wait for a really long while. When your Apple Watch starts to charge, you know your MacBook is back.👋🏼 Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum.

's suggestion a try first!🙏🏼 Promising! I'll try this in a few hours and report back.Hi, for my case, I unplugged it completely from the power source, then press power key and other random keys and plug my Apple Watch to charge (of course it didn't charge) and wait for a really long while. Hope this will help!
P/S: You may need this: when your MacBook comes back to life, you log in successfully to your desktop. Then don't do anything, just shutdown again. Once it's completely shut down, you plug your power again. This will wake your MacBook up, and charge it as well. Then you can continue to update to latest version but do not unplug it.
You just saved me a big headache in updating to the beta. lolThe only public beta I did not yet install is Sonoma. If I install Sonoma on my M1 mini the app SoundSource will stop working...until Rogue Ameoba gets off their butts and updates it for Sonoma which will likely be when the general populous version is released. Rogue Ameoba sucks, hip hip hooray \o/
Dude calm down. Sonoma's not even released for the public. They're probably working on it though. Wait til October before criticizing the dev.The only public beta I did not yet install is Sonoma. Rogue Ameoba know Apple releases public and developer betas after the developer conference. They should have their Sound Source beta ready for Sonoma public beta PeriodDude calm down. Perhaps check the setting for "Allow accessories to connect" under System Settings -> Privacy & Security (assuming it's still there in Sonoma)My M1 iMac has been humming away on PB1 just fine (a memory glitch or two here and there but nothing serious), but after loading the PB2 this morning, I've lost my docking station, external drives, external monitor, etc. Tried the obvious ... reboot cycles, power off cycles, changing TB ports on the back, etc., to no avail. See that the M1 iMacs do not have the controller reset on startup options (supposedly works automatically) but nothing has helped. Verified power is available to the docking station.
Any suggestions?
I'm afraid that a call to Apple Care will result in a "we don't support the betas" but I really do not want to rebuild everything "fresh"!!
Thanks in advance!!

Why? While I wouldn't mind if they did - why are you denigrating them like this. They are no obligation to provide you with beta versions.Rogue Ameoba know Apple releases public and developer betas after the developer conference. Why...because it's 2023 not 2013Why? While I wouldn't mind if they did - why are you denigrating them like this. They are no obligation to provide you with beta versions.
It's in Settings -> Control Centre -> Automatically Hide & Show Menu Barhas anyone figured out how to hide Menu Bar (top) in Sonoma? The gui to change the setting is not there
Thank you! Looks like they moved stuff around. This setting in Monterey is under Dock and Menu BarIt's in Settings -> Control Centre -> Automatically Hide & Show Menu Bar
