I am planning on buying a second monitor for my 17" iMac. I am looking for the cheapest 17" monitor to add to it. Is this a good price:

Should I get this or should I spend a little bit more to get a 19"?

a little cheaper and a better website to deal with, especially if you encounter an issue with it. fast shipping too! :apple:

I want to buy a second monitor for my laptop, but i can't find any 15'' widescreen 1440x900 res ones out there..help? The closest thing is a 17'' at 1440x900 which is horrible.

I'm probably going to go for the 30" ACD. Unless, someone tells me that because my 2.4 ghz Penryn MBP only has 256 VRAM and 3MB L3 cache it won't be so good.

Nope! It'll b e great.

Especially if my 2.2Ghz Santa Rosa nVidia 8600GT 256Vram MBP can handle this 30" beast at native perfect resolution than yours should handle it with flying colors.

Manufacturers don't make 15" standalone monitors at 1440x900. They also don't make 17" standalone monitors at 1920x1200. 1440x900 runs between 17" and 19", while 1920x1200 starts at 24"(ACD's 23") and goes to 29".

Laptop monitors have higher resolutions. You'll need a bigger monitor. What's so horrible about 1440x900 at 17"? That's what this iMac is, and I have no complaints.
