Oh great... My phone will definitely arrive on 11/16 as scheduled for sure. Thanks Apple! I might as well wait for iPhone 8.

Horrible delivery in Hungary for the Watch and iPhone 7 Plus - 3-4 weeks - ordered on the first 4 minutes and expected delivery 25th october - 4th of November.. by that time iphone 8 is on it's way out :))

No Airpods.... until late october here :(((

Ordered mine from T-Mobile a week ago and the order is still processing. Hopefully I will get it this month.

Apple's "Second Wave" will be more like a ripple if we go by the First Wave. Many, and I mean "MANY" people are still waiting for their pre-orders.

Apple really should do a better job at taking care of it's home market. The rest of the world wouldn't even have cell phones if it wasn't for this great nation.
What? What kind of statement is that? If the great nation you are referring to is the USA - remember it was the British that invented the telephone. Allowing the eventual development of mobile and smartphones. So with your logic, shouldn't the British get 1st dibs on all types of phones that come out?

I ordered my iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black on the 12th of September. My dispatch date is "Some time in November" and now they're launching in all these other countries haha - They can expect their phones when? January? March? haha .... kill me.
If it will make you feel better, there is no jet black available for tonight's launch in Bahrain. I preordered a Black Plus 128 on first day of preorders and even that is not available tonight but they have a Silver one available but I didn't take it.

Ditto. I feel for the folks that have shipped already and are stuck in UPS purgatory right now, but for those of us that preordered before the phone was even released, and have nebulous "November dates" (not even a set day in November), this stings a bit more. I am happy for the folks in other countries to get their phones too, but admit I am annoyed that I have no forseeable end in sight and ordered before it was even released. Every day I am a step closer to saying forget it, I will try to reserve a MB+ in store instead of waiting for a JB+ that may be eight more weeks away.

Apple knew from the start when they said they won't be giving sales figures that supply is lower than demand. The real reason we don't know, I doubt it's because they underestimated the demand but more probably slow supply of a specific part or parts. Based on that, why did they begin phase 2 just one week later? They've never done that before I don't think, even the 6S launched in Bahrain in October.

No, that's a ridiculous argument. OP means that Apple is a US founded company and the US market should get first priority over others. All the UK companies that make phones could do the same. Oh wait...

Apple can't even meet demand in the first round...

completely agree - they cannot even support the demand of their domestic market - they should delay their launch globally until they straighten out their horrible supply chains. Local AT&T store hasn't even seen 1 7 Plus yet. I went into Los Gatos Apple Store (ISTOCKNOW said they had some AT&T 128GB in stock) - only to be told at 9:30 AM that they only had VERIZON.

Unfortunately, this has been a pretty sour launch as far as launches go for Apple. Website was late by 5 minutes - my order was placed within 10 minutes tops and I am 3-4 weeks delayed.

Still waiting for Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus 128GB to become available...........

Doing store pickup cause not trying to have Apple charge me and get my phone until November

America is not where the market growth is anymore. You wouldn't want to speak out against Capitalism while in the middle of your nationalist comment, right?

Because we can't make them fast enough as it is to fulfill the demand for these great new phones....

....Let's add lots more people to the long waiting lists. Great idea

Another case of the American superiority complex and Americans wonder why they are hated in every country including their own:rolleyes:

Apple can't even meet demand in the first round...

That's not necessarily accurate. It depends on the model as well, which is causing delays with popularity. Also, some Parcel companies have had issues with weather and or mechanical. See Macrumors for current article on this.

I would like to see the US get bumped to the second round just one time... so people here can learn what it is like to have to wait for seconds...

Hopefully doelcm82.
Unfortunately I haven't been blessed with the virtue of patience.

I'm pretty sure that patience has already been genetically eliminated from the human race. :D

I don't deny it's a ridiculous argument, that was the whole point to a ridiculous original statement. Just because Apple is based in the US does not mean that the US should get special treatment. That's a really small minded and pretty greedy state of mind to have. People in the US can't have the particular model of iPhone they want and Apple should change their business model and plans?! Thankfully for the most part Apple seems to understand that's not how to run a business. They are a world wide company that rely on customers all over the world for their continued profits and success. I'm pretty sure their market growth is dependant on keeping the world happy and not just the US.

You are right, but for those of us that want jet black, we never stood a chance out the gate. It was delayed immediately, and they have never had them to reserve in store. If you want gold, you are golden. If you wanted jet black, let alone JB+, you were screwed right off the bat.

And if the rumors are true (see istocknow twitter thread here on Macrumors) that JB is available for some walk ins, that pisses me off even more. I can't even try to reserve in store like silver, gold, rose gold and matte black buyers can. Great, have walk in stock, that is fine, I think they should, even if all preorders are not filled yet...but when you are able to also allow those that ordered before the phone was released to get them too, through shipping or reservations. I have "November" as my date, and ordered before it was even available for a walk in purchase was possible. Halloween could come and go, heck so could Thanksgiving. But random walk ins and a second wave are more important to Apple than orders like mine. I would even be okay with it if I could try to reserve like everyone else, but since I can't, I am irritated.

Apple should've delayed the tier 2 release to late october/early november. Its going to be difficult for the guys making iPhones next couple months.
