Secret 4G functionality

What ever happened to the iPod 4G secret functionality? I seem to remember something about a hidden feature, but nothing ever came from that. Or am I dreaming? 🙁

There is some way to record (at 8 KHz, I believe). Someone should be able to tell you how to use that functionality.

Yeah hold down the four buttons for 30 seconds and it becomes a Visualzer like in iTunes.

Ok. So we have a vote for an audio recorder and a visualizer. I seem to doubt the visualizer... It would just kill batteries.
