...looking for something like Apple Notes but that can be secured by password and has iOS apps too. Bluenote looks great but no iOS apps sadly.

Might be more than you need, but 1Password has secure note functionality (notes are encrypted) that syncs between the Mac and iOS versions.

I have 1Password3 and loved it until Dropbox ruined the iOS app ... their crazy pricing (£35 for OSX and £13 for the iOS app) is preventing my return :-/

Thanks though, should have said I'd already considered that one.
