Long story short, I'm looking for temporary alternatives to adhesive strips to secure a MacBook Air's battery and speakers in place. Is there anything I can use to make sure they don't rattle around inside the case? It's the 2018 model, if that makes a difference.

(?) A replacement battery would come with the adhesive strips.
The speakers wouldn't need much to hold them in place. You might look at an auto parts store, looking for thin, double-sided tape, probably the stuff on a roll should be thin enough. Trim to the size you need. You could probably do the same with the battery.

Just curious - why would you need a "temporary alternative" (?)
