there is no ios virus, firewall exists but only for jailbroken users.

You don't need to worry about viruses on iOS. Still, spam/phishing can be a problem, so be weary of any unknown websites/emails that you do not recognize and never disclose your personal information to untrusted sources.

I've never heard of any concerns on the Ipad. Thats another area that Apple does very very well.
