I have been having some issues with some creeps on my property lately, and i want put up some security cameras. and i would like to feed them to my mac. so it can upload the video to my web server. anyone got any good ideas how i can go from the RCAstyle video from the camera to my mac and then have it automatically upload clips or still frames of it?

Thanks

or google 'mac surveillance system' for other software/hardware options. Just off the top of my head, you'd need a FW or USB device that can take analog video inputs (like an eyeTV), an FTP server or account somewhere, and software like securityspy above.

I use AXIS wireless network cameras and SecuritySpy for recording.

Works great.

No creep is gonna sneak up on me.
