security holes appear hours after safari's release for windows

    Your title is grossly misleading. The actual vulnerability is a Firefox Windows vulnerability that is conjectured to also work in Safari. They go on to surmise that it also works in the MacOS X version of Safari. However, there seems to be no evidence--let alone proof--that the vulnerability is anything other than a Firefox vulnerability under Windows.
