When trying to download it from the apple
site I get: SecurityUpdate2003-08-14.dmg

So what is going on??????

The same thing happend with 10.2.8 update.

Broke Java

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if they did pull it. It broke Java on my machine. Now no Java apps run and it generates a message in the Console of "HotSpot not at correct virtual address. Sharing disabled."

This is an extreme bummer for me because I'm a Java developer. My applications won't run.

Java works fine for me after installing the security update. In fact, it is really fast, I was surprised since Java on my old computer was painfully slow.

I'm guessing 1.4.1 since that is what it says in the Java folder in my utilities folder.

How big should the SecurityUpdate2003-10-28 be?????

The website thinks it's : 782KB
The software update thinks it's: 592KB
The download is: 263KB.

Which is it?????

Not gone install yet.
Don't wanne hose my system.
