Security update slowed boot up time.

The snow leopard security update that came out a few days ago has slowed my boot up time. Would you recommend that I rum the combo? Or....

The snow leopard security update that came out a few days ago has slowed my boot up time. Would you recommend that I rum the combo? Or....

Try rebooting 5 times in a row. each time reboot, wait until it finishes loading OS X completely, open safari or some random program, then reboot. do that a few times and see if that doesn't get OS X to make some cache files and speed things up on its own.
