Security updates, Doesn't work.

I can't run most of the automatic updates among others the security updates.
At the end of the process I get a sign telling that an error has occurred and asks me to restart the computer. My computer is the new iMac 24" and it's four months old. I already have reapired the permissions. First time I saw the problem was when the security updates 2010.1 was launched.
Any suggestions?

Problem solved.🙂
I reinstalled the system, which can be done with the snow leo without affecting any files or applications. Having done that, I upgraded everything one upgrade by one, starting with the most impottant, the combo upgrade. I had to reinstall iTunes afterwards since it was damaged during the process.
