For the life of me I cannot locate where on my account page to see the amount of texts I've used so far this month. I see my used and remaining minutes right there but when I go to data usage texts aren't there.

The iPhone won't tell you a text count.
Dial *DATA#
AT&T will send you a free text will your text count and data usage.
Furthermore, there are others too. Like, *MIN# and *BAL#, to check minutes and your balance.

You can also access your account info via attwireless.com. Check the Voice and Data Usage section and select "Data." It shows how many texts you have used to date and when you're current billing cycle ends.

hit the data tab, right by the phone tab (its on the phone tab by default) right in the middle of the page.
it should tell you there.
you could just count them on your phone if you save them. every time you hit "load earlier messages" that is 50 texts.

+2 I have the exact same thing done! listed under "text" Love this feature! Although, one thing I haven't quite figured out yet. Does it use a text to send it? I think it does, can anyone confirm?
