iOS7.0.4 on an iPhone 4s

I might have missed something really obvious here, but when you're writing a long text message on an iPhone, and the message gets too long to see the previous messages, but you want to see the last one you received…. how the heck do you?? you can't hide the keyboard, you can't scroll up, tapping the top, or the sides; or anywhere does nothing, pressing 'contact' just makes the contacts name disappear until you press 'done'…

Swipe down from where the top of the text box is and it'll hide the keyboard again. Might need to be just above the text box, as in the line above where the contact name(s) are.

Ah…it was something obvious then!

my fingers must be too fat or something as it's a pretty fiddly spot to swipe!

Thanks for the reply

The Contacts glitch you mentioned is annoying though. It should overlay it on the textbox.
