Is there a way I can still get the 15.7 update? Not going to 26 yet, if ever.
Yes, there is "more updates" blue text button in Software Update. There is also always macOS installers in App Store for all versions you want instead of last one:

You can also use iMazing Profile Editor to disable update notifications about Tahoe for 90 days (macOS is annoying as hell with this since Sonoma to Sequoia update notifications)

I updated to 18.7 on my mobile devices and 15.7 on my two Mac’s. When it came to macOS 15.7, my Software Update page had macOS 26 clicked and the latest version of Safari as well. 15.7 was an unclicked option. I unclicked 26 and clicked on 15.7. The update took place normally. But my two Macs still have the little red “Updates Available” icon on my larger Settings icon and I can’t get rid of it. I did not download 26 so there is nothing to delete. This is only on my Mac’s, not my iPads or iPhone.

Thank you, that work. I have no idea why I did not already know that. My Studio is updated, and the iPad M4 is updating now. Still out to lunch on the iPhone, but it will probably go to 18.7 in a day or two

Just use the mr machintosh link and do a clean install?

Personally its not like im removing my main ventura partition just yet so just the normal.

Mine showed the 15.7 update at the top of the settings screen, and the Tahoe update at the bottom with something like "you may also install this..."

I did 15.7 first though, as I didn't really want to move to Tahoe yet. Unfortunately 15.7 wouldn't let me connect to my iPad/iPhone directly to sync media.
