OpenSSL command line

The "md5" command is a part of the OpenSSL programs, which also includes support for SHA-1 (as well as lots of other things).

The command to calculate SHA-1 is:

openssl sha1 yourFileName

Multiple filenames can be provided (separated by spaces). You can either type in your filename or simply drag-and-drop it/them from the Finder onto the Terminal window. Change the "sha1" to "md5" to calculate that.

Thanks all.
They help to some extend. But not exactly the widget I used before.
But thank you all the same.
