Seeking Advice: Refilling G5 LCS.

Ok an update and more progress.
I decided to go for it.
I cut the squashed pipe back and fitted a 6mm hose to it and drained the system into a bottle actually got hardly any coolant out( about 2 mouthfuls) thats a guess as I didn't actually drink the stuff.
I so cut both pipes from the pump and still got no more so guess the noisy pump was caused by not enough coolant?
Managed to clean off the epoxy so will be rebuilding once the new pump hoses coolant and hose clips arrive.
I may fill with DI water first and try to pressurise the system to see if it leaks any where as I can't work out why the liquid level was so low.
The system is sealed and epoxied and no evidence of leaking so i'm at a loss as to where the coolant went to. Someone put me right here but if its sealed it can't evaporate as there is no air for it to do so?
If its leaked then where is the evidence of it? could it be such a small leak that over the years the coolant has disappeared seamingly without a trace?
I'll take some photos and try to post them on here as I progress.
Any help from anyone who has referbed this system would be helpful
Thanks

Is 50-60c actually bad for the OPs G5? That's about where my dual-2.7 stays when I'm doing absolutely nothing on it.

I would think not, these are dual g5s, they throw a ton of heat. My dual CPU MacBook sits around the same temps.

Sooo, I know this is a bit of a necro, but I just go a Quad G5 and I'm going to flush the cooler, add new thermal paste etc. Try to get the thing in good shape. Like yours mine hasn't leaked, but it's noisy. I suspect coolant levels are low.
I've never worked on liquid coolers before. I've only ever had air coolers in my machines. I'm just wondering how this worked out for you, and If you don't mind: how you went about it. I've not been able to find a good guide, and since I'll be going in with no prior experience a little write-up would be HUGELY appreciated! :)
