Can’t send a text, I just had this fixed yesterday and the next day it’s back again. Seems you get what you pay for. I had a few guys from prepaid mvnos tell me iOS has issues with their service.

I’m guessing I need to go to att prepaid eventually or maybe T-Mobile or Verizon.

Anyone else at one point tried to save money and ram to postpaid due to just overall just more reliable service.

Red Pocket just sucks. I have Tello (runs on T-Mobile) and everything works great except for no 5G right now because Apple needs to update the carrier bundle.

Yeah I paid for the damn year already smh, I will count my losses and check out tmobile prepaid.

Red Pocket offers service on CDMA and GSM. Which one are you having trouble with?

Cricket for years and now visible for last 2 years. No issues. used to pay 45 now I pay 25.

GSMT is annoying to work with, SMS work but not MMS. So I could send text but not photo. Also you have to enter the APN settings manually.

GSMA from my experience work best, MMS works both ways, and don’t have to set APN manually.

CDMAV my last experience also couldn’t get MMS to work.

Overall I’m pretty happy using GSMA with Red Pocket.

I would go with Cricket over T-mobile prepay. Verizon prepay works well but maybe a little expensive, but enabling autopay give a discount.

cricket is kinda expensive with data, I know some folks that have it but I will say it gives no problems... works well.

I paid 270 like 3 months ago for the year with RP, I will see if this happens again and consider switching, RP has no refunds, unfortunately.

Cricket is deprioritized while T-Mobile’s prepaid plans are highest network priority. Even the cheap $15 Connect plan has QCI 6. If T-Mobile’s network is good in the area, there’s zero reason to avoid T-Mobile’s prepaid unlike Cricket and Verizon which are both deprioritized.
