Seems w3690 es chip won't work in 2010 mac pro

I wasn't aware there was a big difference from the retail chip,

I thought I had read somewhere ES chips could have different micro code which could make them not function quite the same as retail CPU,s

But hey i may be mistaken!

Shame though as there seem to be plenty of ES chips around.

In general ES mostly do work in various MP models, but it's more like lottery TBH. You never know what exactly is modified in these CPUs.
