Looked Korean, I thought. Good grief though. Glad it’s not just me.

Looks to have gone on for almost an hour and generated almost 300 threads. Wow.

These bots and spammers come along every once in a while. The mods are pretty good about cleaning up their messes... but generally speaking, if they hit in the middle of the night (and typically, they do), they don't get cleaned up until morning...

I'm not seeing anything now ... so they must be "on it".

    Trust the system.

I saw all those and dealt with it about three hours ago, and only just now saw your posts here.

When you see spam, please report it (as some of you did) and we'll get on it. If you see spam and you are thinking maybe somebody else already reported it, just go ahead and report it anyway. Multiple reports don't cause us extra work at all.

Hope everybody has a good weekend.

Seeing a lot of spam today (have reported the ones I have come across) but there do seem to be more of them than usual.

My pleasure; normally, I come across one or two every few weeks; today, (and yesterday, I think), I was surprised to encounter quite a few.

Anyway, if ever I see them, I report them immediately.

It was worst the day this thread started. If like me you use the new post button I think it was the first 3-4 pages were just spam and the forum was slow as hell.

Sometimes, inexplicably - I don't know what may prompt it - but there seems to be a sudden tsunami of spam.

Then, it sort of dies off.

    I blame El Niño.

    Or the Spanish Inquisition.

I think this week I've reported more than in the past several months.

How I wish I could lay the blame at the door of the Spanish Inquisition.

    Alas, and alack, I cannot.....

    Circumstances suggest otherwise....
