I'd bet a lot of Wal-Mart managers are just deciding not to deal with the morning rush. They know they will sell them. They will magically arrive mid-day and start quietly selling them to people who lost out at other stores.

More important question needs to be asked:

How many of these 1-4 iphones are 32GB?

I would be super pissed if I waited 12 hours (which I'm prepared to do), only to find that the "one" iPhone is 16gb.

But, hey, you would think the person would at least have the courtesy to tell me if its 16 or 32 right?

Yeah, that's a big question. It will depend on the associate, I guess. I read somewhere that the 16 outweighs the 32 in store stock heavily. And at Wal-Mart, I'd assume they go for the "cheaper" one. But that's all just my assumption.

I know they do. At the 3gs launch for non-reserved, there were two 32gb white iphones that my brother and I got since we were #1 and 2 in line.

Up unntil about 7pm today I had planned on waiting out in front of AT&T because I could wait 12 hours or so, no big issue; but alas, I am now in a slight panic mode. Best buy took preorders so i don't see them having any left for non-reserves, so Wal-Mart is personally my best option. Only thing is, has to be 32gb, not 16. I will wait 12 hours to get it, but like i said, it has to be 32.

SIZE MATTERS!
