I've never used an emulator in my iPad before, but seen a few recent comments from people about it and it's got me thinking. How easy is it to find the games, and does anyone have any recommendations or guidance for getting started? I used to have an emulator on my Nokia N900, which was a wholly different experience as an open source platform, so I don't know where to start with Apple

There's some good information in the comments of this MacRumors article.

But realistically, you'd probably have a more enjoyable (and much easier) time just getting one of those retro handheld emulators off Amazon... they're usually somewhere in the $50 to $75 range, and they already come with a bunch of games pre-installed.
