Seiko are releasing a limited edition remake of the watch worn by Steve Jobs in the iconic Macintosh photo by Norman Seeff

Steve's watch sold for $42,500 at auction last year but the remake is a lot cheaper at around $180. Two sizes and two dial colours are offered, the only problem is it's exclusively on sale in Japan.

Truthfully, if it was available in United States, I would purchase it just because of the history and I like the simple, elegant look to it.

And I can afford $180.00, not $42,500.

Nice looking watch, I'd buy it, and I'm not a watch person, but as mentioned, its only available in Japan.

There's quite a big grey market for JDM watches, they always seem to find their way onto eBay and there are a few reputable dealers in Hong Kong who ship to international customers.

There certainly is a market to find them on eBay. If you can have them shipped to you internationally, you pay A Steep price, but that's expected.
