SELECT ALL option gone in iOS 5 Mail?

I'm in an email in iOS 5 and there's no select all option for copy and paste.

In any app in iOS5, tap and hold in any paragraph break or other white space in the center of the page until it brings up the circular magnifying window, then drag your finger to either edge of the page. This will bring up the option to cut, copy, or select all.

You're not alone - this trick was tough to figure out.
