The only way I would organize such event is when I am also launching a new HW and surprise people by announcing they can buy the new products NOW.
This way you make more $$$ on the spot for those who get overly impressed by the way a product is presented.
Otherwise it feels like a football (soccer) game in Europe, Without beer and fun.
Al least for the game you can order beer and spend time with your friends laughing and joking and not trolling about multitasking on a glass screen...

Going to a store to watch a livestream IMHO is so lame that I am starting to seriously question this generation who would travel there to watch stuff on a screen.
I prefer to be home and spend some time with the family and peek once in a while at the screen.

I love Apple products, I suffer to collect money to buy them and I do buy some of them. But there's a limit to this Apple madness... It's not John Snow or Thanos speaking at the conference... Just Tim Cook and a bunch of extremely vitamin D lacking nerds....

Oh you just left the door open for tons of Apple jokes there bud. :p "Let me snap sway half the thickness."

Imagine sitting on those boxes for an entire keynote.
She really destroyed the stores

Hmmmm my office is right above the World Trade Center store.... if only they didn’t spend 6 hours with the ra-ra BS patting themselves on the back, I could justify catching it
You know the employees will be cheering like fanatical North Koreans during a Kim Jong Un rally.

Didn't watch the last one. Was not disappointed! at all. Thinking about watching this one as it will be the end of macOS as we know it. Pretty happy about the future and switching over to linux to do macOS and iOS development. This will significantly reduce my hardware cost for development equipment.

Apple will never allow deployment from Linux and they still haven’t made the majority of Foundation and Core Foundation APIs available on Linux. They will always require a Mac for macOS and iOS development. So the Apple hardware tax won’t be going away for better or worse.

Does anyone even bother anymore? Apple hasn't announced anything new or innovative in years.

Not really too bothered about hearing how many devices have the latest iOS installed or how many phones sold or apps downloaded.

Im not bothered about the new look news or music apps.

Everything I want / need in an Apple computer, Apple refuses to provide.

Maybe one day they will launch a computer that is powerful, good looking and properly designed. Maybe it is this WWDC but probably not.

The fact this is still on sale and still has the same embarrassing specs shows me that Apple can no longer be relied on https://www.apple.com/mac-pro/

Will someone run in and throw a sledgehammer through the screen as Tim Cook’s giant face gazes out upon the staring masses? Oh wait..

Yeah I mean many devs are there who spend waaaay too much time in front of PC and too little out in the sun.
By the way - I used to be a developer long ago.... gave up that career... Couldn't do it more than 3 years. Too much screen time.

However I did watch the event and I did enjoy it a lot this time :)

P.S. If you bought tickets it has a different purpose. You visit the sessions - that's a different story.
