Hello.

So i'm sending my MBP to Apple tomorrow and probably they're going to change my logic board so guess i'll loose everything. I have backed up my machine with Time Capsule but i don't know if i'm going to do a selective restore of my things from there. I don't want to restore the files from my library for example.

So, can i do a selective restore or am i going to have problems?

If it's just your logic board, then your hard drive info should be fine. I've had 2 computers go for logic board replacements, and both came back with all my info on them still.

I guess it is logic board cause i had 2 kernel panics and when i checked the log
i found out that the graphics card was too much involved in it so.... I'm not a technician but that's my guess.

Anyway, thanks for the reply!🙂
