Ok guys im hoping you can help me with this. The only Apple product I have is an iphone so not much experience with OSX. My aunt has a medical program that will only work with Internet Explorer. I've decided that it would probably be easier to just use Windows in a virtualized environment as opposed to bootcamp and installing the OS seperately. She lives 3,000 miles away from me, so I really need a plug and play solution.

If I buy Parallels - is there any way to create a custom installer that installs not only Parallels but also a fully working copy of windows xp with it? (of course provided that I have properly installed and configured it with a key and everything). That seems like the easiest way to do things considering that I have such little experience with OSX myself and also makes things the easiest on her end.

EDIT: I should mention I have a Hackintosh to experiment around with the situation so I can test any potential fixes as well.
EDIT2: I'm not sure of the specs of her machine unfortunately, but I do know it is a Macbook that was purchased within the last year and runs Leopard.

Any guidance or idea my way? Thanks.

I don't know of any custom installer creators, but i'm not that experienced on macs...but highly doubtful for what you need anyway.

The only thing I can recommend is what I do when I need to install software on another mac remotely.

Get her logged into iChat and you aswell, then take control of her system (share screen) then just install it for her. You may need to send her the xp disk or whatever to pop in while you do it.
