I live in Forum Spy so it's quite easy to see what happens behind the scenes in MacRumors.

According to the FAQ you can't delete your own posts but I've seen non-moderator and administrators do it near instantaneously.

I don't expect a mod/admin to tag along a split second after a normal poster. ;)

Click edit on your post and just delete the comment.

It won't delete the entire thing, but the body of your comment will be gone.

I just read the FAQ and indeed you can't delete your own post. Something I'm guilty of..

If one can't delete their own post why is the delete button there ?

I'm just a lowly contributor.Pay $25 bucks for a Demi-God title.
But anyway the delete button is there whenever you edit the post.

Nobody see's it ?

Once again, only Demi-Gods (those who contribute $25 annually to the site) have a delete button.

Just one of the extra perks you can get for your donation.
