I live in Forum Spy so it's quite easy to see what happens behind the scenes in MacRumors.

According to the FAQ you can't delete your own posts but I've seen non-moderator and administrators do it near instantaneously.

I don't expect a mod/admin to tag along a split second after a normal poster.

Click edit on your post and just delete the comment.

It won't delete the entire thing, but the body of your comment will be gone.

I mean the entire post.

Forum Spy will show a post but nothing shows up when you look at the thread or user profile.

Demi-gods are not moderators. They are members who have contributed monetarily to the site (the Demi-God title is identical to the Contributer title).

Moderators have either "Moderator" or "god" status.
