Hey guys, I have an iPad 2 with a horrifically cracked screen. Can anyone reccomend a reputable Website or vendor (via amazon or w/e) that sells replacement glass panels, preferably less than $100 or even $80? I'm a cash-strapped student. Thanks!!

Check eBay. The digitisers are about $40 - $60. I've bought several iPhone parts off eBay and they've always been perfect. Just make sure you only buy from high percentage (with lots of votes) sellers

In my opinion most ebay sellers are fine, the parts are all the same, just be careful that you're ordering from the UK and not China as they are in the European Union and delivery obviously takes longer.
Be very careful when you carry out this repair, tip: you will need to heat the sides of the screen to about 130C to losen the glue on the screen, a sucker (again you can buy these from ebay) will help to start to lift it.

Okay, thanks a lot! I actually went with amazon and replaced it, but now I have an issue with phantom touches... Time for another post
