Sell iMac for MBP and LED Display

I like being portable, and I just bought a brand new 17" MBP. While it is Portable, it's also large. I run a business, and would like to keep the power and size of the 17" but have something to travel with when I need to travel light. I'm thinking about selling my 24" iMac to partially fund a Macbook Pro 13" and 24" LED Cinema display.

Dumb idea? Let me know what you think.

Selling the MBP for $1,800 would land you a refurb 2.0 Ghz MacBook and the display, but I would save up and buy a new 2.53 Ghz model new and get a Dell display for $500 less.

whoops! Same principles apply. Unless you are an idiot, or an Apple fanboy (or both...), you should really buy another brand of dispplay and spend your saved $500 elsewhere.
