Selling 3G - should I upgrade to 3.0 or leave it as is?

Hey all,

I'm looking for your advice on 3.0. I heard that if I upgrade I can' then downgrade to a previous version and that 3.0 made it harder to unlock. Sooooo, if I'm planning to sell my phone in a few days should I upgrade the phone or will that decrease it's value?
